At Golfo Gabella we always do our best to ensure you
enjoy your stay. In order to make sure your arrival is stress-free,
you may want to take the time to read over the following
- ARRIVALS. Golfo Gabella does not have a 24
hour reception. Standard check-in times are from 3pm to 6pm from
Monday to Saturday. Unless otherwise informed by our guests, we
will assume that they plan to arrive between these times. We
recommend that guests liaise directly with our reception office to
let us know their time of arrival. For check-ins outside office
hours (office hours: 9am - 6pm) we can arrange an automatic
check-in. Guests will receive telephonic support for their
automatic check-in up until 10pm. After that time we cannot
guarantee any support if they are unable get into the apartment.
Upon arrival guests will be asked to pay for the add-ons (cleaning,
bed linen) if they have not been paid beforehand, as well as a
security deposit. Our staff will show the apartment and give some
advice regarding the use of appliances, waste disposal, Internet
- SELF-CATERING ACCOMODATION. The apartments in
Golfo Gabella are not hotel rooms but self-catered accomodation.
Guests should provide themselves with food, toiletries etc. The
cleaning staff supplies a "starter kit" comprising of 2 rolls of
toilet paper, 2 dishwasher tablets and some plastic bin bags.
Guests are not asked to replace these items at the end of their
stay. However, if they require more during their stay they must buy
their own. Bedlinen is supplied on request (recommended but not
compulsory). We offer a welcome pack containing some basic food
supplies that must be booked a few days before arrival (check our
add-on list on the website for details).
- AMENITIES IN THE APARTMENTS. Golfo Gabella
apartments are privately owned and therefore have different
features and amenities. We cannot guarantee that all apartments
will have the same amenities included in their rental price or
provided in the apartment (internet connection, access to gym,
covered parking space, English/German channels, dishwasher, coffee
machine, kettle, etc). Guests should check the list of the
apartments on our website to find out which amenities are included
or offered in each apartment.
- POOLS. Golfo Gabella's pools are open from
15th April to 15th October each year. These dates may vary slightly
depending on weather and on which day Easter falls each year. The
pools are heated but they are not thermal baths! In case of bad
weather the temperature of the water may drop and it can take some
time to heat it back to the standard temperature.
- NO SMOKING. This is a no-smoking
property. We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking anywhere
inside the buildings and by the pool.
- BED LINEN AND TOWELS. Bedlinen
and towels are supplied on request (recommended but not
compulsory). However, we ask that you do not take these outside of
the apartment. Please remember, therefore, to bring your own towels
to use by the lake and by the pool.
- BABYSITTERS. If you need a
babysitter during your stay, our reception can provide you with a
list of local babysitters. Please keep in mind that it is best to
make such arrangements before your arrival.
- DEPARTURES. We kindly ask that guests check
out of their apartment by 10:00 at the latest on their day of
departure, making sure that they have disposed of any waste,
cleaned any dirty dishes, emptied the fridge and freezer and
returned all sets of keys to the reception. Our staff will check
the apartment before you leave to make sure that everything is in
